The ceremony of awarding the winners of the Russian National Award "Student of the Year" took place in Moscow. In the nomination "Creative Personality of the Year" the winner was a graduate student of KIU, Laysan Idrisova.

Laysan's victory is rightfully deserved. Her talent is unique, because Laysan manifests herself in various types of creativity: she dances and puts on performances for the Brooklyn dance project, she is professionally engaged in painting, and participates in competitions and creative festivals. Recall that Laysan became the winner of the “Student of the Year of the Republic of Tatarstan-2021” award in the “Creative Personality of the Year” nomination.

The good news doesn't end there. The winner in the nomination "Esports Club of the Year"  was the ESports Club of the KIU.

In total, the Republic of Tatarstan was represented in the competition by 36 students in 22 out of 24 nominations. The event was held as part of the All-Russian Student Forum "Tvoy Khod - 2022" ("Your Move - 2022"). The "Student of the Year" award is implemented by the Russian Youth Union and is part of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity".
