Presentation of the scholarship of KIU founder and the first rector Vitaly Timiryasov took place in KIU.

Only the best students from the best, who have great achievements in studying, science and different competitions, can get this scholarship.

Rector Asiya Timiryasova opened the ceremony: “Today our University has a special day - 80^th anniversary of the birth of Vitaly Gainullovich Timiryasov, the founder of the University. A university principle, which was laid down by Vitaly Timiryasov, was love and respect toward a student. Guests of our university confirmed it more than once, saying that our corporative spirit was strong and students had a special attitude here.

Recently rereading an interview in a biographical book “A Man Ahead of his Time”, I noticed, that every thought, said by him was still relevant. It’s true. There was a man ahead of his time. The same I wish you to become people, who are able to look ahead and even to be ahead of the time, in which they live”.

Scholars also gave their speech on the awarding ceremony. Yevgeny Garifyanov, a 2^nd year student of Nizhnekamsk branch said: I want to thank the heads of the University and teachers for those opportunities, which allow to realize our potential. All beginnings of students are really supported in the University. And we feel a special attitude towards us”.

At the end of the award ceremony, students, administration and teachers were photographed on a memory about this significant event.
