The annual festival of creativity "InYaz.Fest" was held at the Kazan Innovative University. The organizers of the holiday are the Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication of KIU.
Linguistic students of all courses, as well as foreign students, performed musical compositions in English, Chinese, Spanish, French and German, dance numbers, demonstrated excellent vocal skills, as well as a great sense of humor and acting skills.
"InYaz.Fest" was held in the format of a concert-competition. The numbers were evaluated by members of the jury, which included: Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Gulnara Dulmukhametova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation, Ph.D. in Philology, Associate Professor Guzel Vildanova, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics, Ph.D. in Philology, Associate Professor Alla Khoroshavina.
The concert began with a performance in Tatar by Dinara Rakhimova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The event was held in a festive and warm atmosphere, the audience welcomed and supported the performers. Incendiary, lyrical, New Year's compositions sounded from the stage. Latin American students in colorful costumes performed a bright and original dance. Funny videos and clips became an interesting addition to the vocal and dance numbers. Linguists have not bypassed the ongoing World Cup. Students prepared performances to Shakira's song Waka-Waka (the official anthem of the World Cup 2010).
As the jury members noted, all the performances were bright and interesting. But there could be only one winner of InYaz.Fest, and it was the group 1101. The guys not only performed three songs in German, two of which they themselves translated from Russian, but also staged a stylish and memorable performance.

"The Most Close-Knit Group" - foreign students - participants of the dance group "Buen Joropo"
As part of the event, an awards ceremony was held, certificates of honor and gratitude were presented to the participants of the competitions and activists of the faculty.
InYaz.Fest turned out to be bright and colorful. Spectators and participants of the festival were once again convinced of how talented, smart and gifted our students are.
