On July 7, newly arrived foreign students from Colombia went on a tour of the city of Kazan, during which they got acquainted with the history, cultural features and architecture of the city.

In summer, a large number of foreign students come to Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov for Russian language courses. Their choice is not accidental, because our university, recognized as the best private university in the category "Education" (National University Ranking Interfax 2023), has a center for training and testing in Russian as a foreign language for foreign citizens, where teachers with many years of experience provide high-quality knowledge.

Traditionally the university organizes an introductory tour of the city where they will study for all foreign students. This year was no exception, and on July 7, on a hot summer day, students who had recently arrived in Kazan went on a city tour in Spanish, which was conducted by student Rodriguez Maldonado Alfredo Jose, who is a 2nd year undergraduate student in the program "Russian as a foreign language" . Their path ran through the central streets, iconic places and main sights of our beautiful city.

The guys admired the incredibly beautiful architecture of the historical part of the city, the new and unusual buildings of modern Kazan, the lively central squares, where life is in full swing in the summer, but the Kazan Kremlin, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, aroused the greatest delight.

We are sincerely glad that every year more and more foreign citizens choose our city and our university for education!
