A delegation from the largest non-state university in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Islamic Azad University, visited Kazan Innovative University to implement joint educational programs and academic exchanges.
Islamic Azad University is the largest private university with 1,400,000 students studying at the parent university and its branches around the world.
The delegation of the Islamic Azad University included the vice-rector of the university Farzad Jahanbin, the consul of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazan Hossaini Mansour and the translator Ansar Amruddin.
It should be noted that more than 1000 students from the Islamic Republic of Iran study in Kazan. The multiculturalism of the Republic of Tatarstan makes the region attractive for Iranian students.
Representatives of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, represented by Rector Asiya Timiryasova, First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Science Igor Bikeev, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development Liliya Vorontsova, Head of the Department of International Relations Ekaterina Nikitina, presented the guests with the infrastructure of the university, ongoing educational programs and scientific research.
During business negotiations, intentions were concluded for cooperation in related areas of our educational organizations.
The meeting ended with the exchange of memorable gifts.
