Students from Latin America at Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov visited Bolgar, one of the most significant historical and cultural sites in the Republic of Tatarstan. Organized by the University, the trip gave students an opportunity to learn more about the region’s history, cultural heritage, and the traditions of its multinational society.
The Bolgar Historical and Archaeological Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, welcomed the students with breathtaking landscapes and unique monuments of medieval architecture. For many international students who came to Russia from different parts of the world, it was their first opportunity to experience firsthand the heritage of Volga Bulgaria and the Golden Horde.
Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov regularly organizes educational trips to important cultural and historical sites across the republic. These activities help international students adapt more quickly to life in a new country, better understand the local culture and mentality, and discover common ground with people from other cultural backgrounds. Exploring the rich historical heritage of Tatarstan makes the students’ experience at KIU even more vibrant and memorable.
KIU continues to expand opportunities for international students, complementing their academic experience with a wide range of cultural, creative, and social activities.
