The Memorandum covers the spheres of education and academic research, opening opportunities for broad cooperation between the two leading universities in their respective countries. It provides for the creation of an optimal system for joint projects based on the integration of the scientific, educational, innovative, and technological potential of the two universities. The Memorandum was signed in Rio de Janeiro during the implementation of the cultural and educational project "Great BRICS Teachers: The Cultural and Moral Code of the Association." It was signed on behalf of the Brazilian university by Rector Professor Roberto de Andrade Medonho and by the First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Research of Kazan Innovative University, Igor Izmailovich Bikeev, in the presence of the Consul General of Russia in Rio de Janeiro, Andrey Yuryevich Petrov.
Igor Bikeev, First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Research at KIU, is representing KIU in the implementation of the international cultural and educational project "Great BRICS Teachers: The Cultural and Moral Code of the Association" in the Brazilian cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Igor Izmailovich took part in the launch of the project's stage in Brazil and the round table "Synergy of Official and Public Diplomacy of Russia and Brazil: Experience, Achievements, and Prospects." The Vice-Rector spoke about KIU's work in the field of BRICS studies and about the unique "BRICS" auditorium at KIU, which has become a model for creating new public spaces in different countries.
Polina Ilyushkina, Associate Professor of the Design Department at KIU, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Culture and Art, actively participated in the first business forum "TIME: Russia – India. Mutual Effectiveness," held last week in Kazan. The event became a large-scale platform for dialogue, bringing together representatives from 30 regions of Russia and 22 regions of India. The forum and exhibition were a response to the directives of the two nations' leaders—Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi—on the development of Russian-Indian relations.
This was a truly exciting and significant event that once again confirmed the high international status of our university!
Last week, a large-scale exhibition of Russian education was held with great success at the Russian House in Lima, Peru. It brought together hundreds of interested schoolchildren, their parents, and graduates who are keen on receiving a quality education in Russia.
