An unforgettable concert devoted to the National Unity Day was held in KIU. Students have represented the most diverse nationalities of our country demonstrated amazing performances that immersed the audience in the richness and diversity of cultures.
"This holiday is relatively young. It is only 10 years old. But it has a deep meaning," pointed out the rector of KIU Asia Timiryasova, addressing the audience and participants of the concert.
This year Kazan Innovative University celebrates its 30th anniversary. In honor of the event the unique exhibition "KIU: creativity, initiative, success" was opened in National Museum of Tatarstan. It is intended to acquaint visitors with the rich history and significant achievements of the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov.
Today, on October 17, 2024, Elizaveta A. Gromova, Senior Researcher of the Research Institute of Digital Technologies and Law of Kazan Innovation University named after V. G. Timiryasov defended her doctoral thesis on the topic “Incentive legal regimes of entrepreneurial activity in the sphere of digital innovations and technologies”. The defense took place at the session of KFU.051.2 Dissertation Board of Kazan (Volga) Federal University. The dissertation was submitted for the degree of Dr. Sci. (Law), specialization 5.1.3. Private-law (civilistic) sciences.
On October 10, a group of international students of KIU met with Russian test cosmonaut, Hero of Russia Sergey Kud-Sverchkov. An informative and, at the same time, warm and informal meeting of the students with the Russian cosmonaut was organized as part of the opening of the photo exhibition "BRICS Universe" in Kazan in the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan.
As part of the Decade of science and technology, strategic national priorities of scientific and technological development, Kazan Innovative University named after V. G. Timiryasov hosted the largest in Russia and CIS countries International scientific and practical conference “Digital Technologies and Law”, which brought together thousands of participants from dozens of countries.
Kazan Innovative University hosted the plenary session of the 3rd International scientific and practical conference “Digital Technologies and Law” organized by KIU named after V. G. Timiryasov jointly with the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan. This event brought together representatives of different branches of legal science and practice, authorities and business to discuss topical issues concerning the mechanisms of ensuring the legal regime of rapidly developing digital technologies.
On September 12, an international roundtable discussion on the topic "Public of BRICS for Sovereign Development" was held in the Presence Offices of Kazan Kremlin. It was timed to coincide with the upcoming BRICS Summit (Kazan, October 2024). The event was organized by: Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rossotrudnichestvo, and the Russian Political Science journal. The roundtable brought together a wide range of participants, including representatives of the public, scientists, religious and political figures, as well as foreign guests from the BRICS countries - China, India, Iran, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Ethiopia.
On September 8, international students from Columbia and China took a boat to the Bolgar and visited the Bolgar Historical and Archaeological Complex, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The excursion, annually organized by the Department of International Relations of KIU together with teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics, is part of the historical, cultural and linguistic education of international students.
First time in the first year! Freshmen of the University and College (pre-university education) gathered today at the assemblies in the courtyard of KIU academic buildings to celebrate their first day and get to know the University.
