On March 4 and 5, 2026, the XXVIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Paradigm of Law in the Context of the Modern Development of Legal Science and Practice" was held at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (GrSU). The conference was attended by over 110 representatives from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Hungary, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Among the participants were representatives of legal science, legal practitioners, judges, as well as postgraduate students, master's students, and undergraduate students.
On March 10, the grand opening of an updated interdisciplinary laboratory took place. It is aimed at developing practical technologies and educational programs to support inclusion in the family and at school. The laboratory, named "Technologies of Inclusive Education" and "Digital Pedagogy and Digital Psychology," operates under the Research Institute of Pedagogical Innovations and Inclusive Education at Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov.
Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov became one of the organizers of the 3rd Republican "Business Iftar - 2026," held in Kazan with the support of the Office of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Spiritual Administrations of the Muslims of Russia and Tatarstan. The event, which brought together representatives from business circles, the clergy, and the public, traditionally served as a platform for strengthening intercultural dialogue and developing Muslim entrepreneurship.

On February 22, 2026, the island-town of Sviyazhsk welcomed over 50 international students from Kazan Innovative University, hailing from Colombia, China, Iran, and other corners of the world. KIU named after V. G. Timiryasov showcased the talents of its students at the "Student of the Year - 2026" award. They became finalists in several categories and opened the event with an inspiring performance by the vocal ensemble "VIVA"!
On December 24, 2025, an important meeting between representatives of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov and Ms. Liu Xuejiao, Consul of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Kazan, took place at the university. The event was attended by First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Research — Igor Izmaylovich Bikееv, Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication — Roza Zakarievna Valeeva, and Head of the International Department — Ekaterina Igorevna Nikitina.
KIU named after V.G. Timiryasov has confirmed its high status by taking 20th place in the nationwide "Tvoy Khod" (Your Move) ranking — the Index of Student Attitudes towards Educational Work in Universities.
