Exploring Kazan
On March 29, an excursion around Kazan was organized for foreign students of KIU who arrived in Russia recently. The excursion was organized by KIU students studying in the direction of "Tourism". The interpreter was Rodriguez Maldonado Alfredo Jose, a first-year undergraduate student of the Russian as a Foreign Language program. The tour covered all the most iconic places in the center of Kazan.
Informative and Fun: a Board Game About Russia for Foreign Students of KIU
Foreign students of KIU study Russian and learn about Russia not only in the classroom, but also at extracurricular activities. One of these events was the game "Hello, Russia", organized on March 21 for foreign students. During the game, they not only learned a lot about Russia, but also had fun with friends and teachers.
Workshop on cooking national dishes of Russia for foreign students of KIU
The annual series of gastronomic workshops started at the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov. The first workshop held this year was dedicated to the national Tatar dish - qistibi. This dish involves the preparation of thin pancakes using a special technology with various fillings.
Diversity of foreign students of KIU at the Republican Ethno-Cultural Festival
From March 1 to 3, within the walls of the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, the III Ethno-Cultural Festival "Creativity of Peace and Harmony" was held, aimed at preserving and promoting the cultures of the peoples living on the territory of Tatarstan, in which foreign students of the Kazan Innovative University.
Maslenitsa in KIU
Maslenitsa was celebrated at the Kazan Innovative University with round dances, contests and delicious pancakes. Students, teachers and university staff gathered to spend the winter and meet the spring in the courtyard of the campus at 42 Moskovskaya.
